Yusen Phils. Welcomes New EVP
Ito-San loves everything about the Philippines! The people, food, drinks, beaches, diving spots and just everything else about the country!!
So, a sayonara party with Pistang Pinoy (Filipino Fiesta) motiff was hosted by our President, Atty Art Tugade to give Mr. Ito one uniquely Filipino way of celebration. Moreover, we wanted our Ito-san, who has truly endeared himself to all Filipino staff, friends and accounts to truly remember and feel how much we would have always treasure his company.
Pistang Pinoy, is a grand tradition of the Filipinos usually celebrating feast day of a patron saint. Streets are decorated with colorful banderitas (little flags made of japanese papers). Bountiful foods are offered to everyone who comes in to join the celebration.
With the decorations, complete with those banderitas, the lechons, pork and beef and marcha music being played, it was a real fiesta. cont...
Pistang Pinoy for Ito-san
On the 25th of October 2006, Yusen Phils. officially welcomes the new Executive Vice President, Mr. Mitsugu Taguchi. Mr. Taguchi takes over the function of Mr. Takatomo Itoh who was then recalled by Yusen Headquarter for another assignment.
Mr. Taguchi has worked for Yusen Air & Sea Service Co., Ltd Japan, since 1985, starting as Export Staff. Prior to taking post here in the Philippines, he handled Import Branch Narita, Japan as Branch Manager.
Philippines is his second overseas assignment, the first one was in United Kingdom from 1996 to 1999.
Mr Taguchi hails from Chiba, Japan. He and his wife, Asako are blessed with two sons, Shinichi (21) and Noboyuki (20). He plays golf with handicap of 21. Mr. Taguchi is a dog lover also. He has Dachshund named Robin which according to him has provided the family with loyalty and friendship for 7 years now. cont...
