...and pallid at first but upon learning the scarcity of blood in our country and the health benefits giving blood offers, 27 staff underwent blood testing, only 15 however, qualified at the time due to some restrictions i.e. health condition, weight, blood pressure and adequate rest/sleep.
The Red Cross team was very pleased on the success of this first project with our company. Yusen employees, indeed, has showed deep concern for fellow Filipinos by generously sharing few ounces of their precious blood.
To the remaining qualified staff, we hope that you will take part next round of bloodletting. Let us start saving lives by sharing a very significant part of ourselves.
