CHRISTMAS with the Children of the Welcome House |

The program was attended too by some of the parents as they watched their children shared their talents. Some did a dance number and others performed a song. The highlight of the presentation is the POEM CHORALE entitled “ PASKO … PASKO”. All the children of the Welcome House performed excellently in this presentation and how wondrous to see them not just merely reciting that “pagkahaba-habang tula” but with their extra dramatization and with their superb expression and emphasis in their every line impressed the audience.
The said fun-filled event is a Gift-Giving day too. YUSEN Volunteers had prepared foods for the snacks and had distributed packs of food items to all children of the Welcome House. It is such a wonderful feeling to share a moment of your life with this kind of event. Just seeing them jumped with joy as they opened their gifts – made the volunteers experienced more the true meaning and festive spirit of Christmas as YUSEN shared again the blessings God had continuously poured for the Year 2004.
Most people say Christmas is for the children, indeed, it’s true … but when you come to experience the true meaning of Christmas through sharing your time with an event such as this … you’ll realize that Christmas is for all ages …

Yusen Air & Sea together with the Metro Bank volunteers carried out
another “Maagang Pamasko” with the Welcome House Children. Just like in
the past years, this is one of the most awaited Saturday of the children.
The event took place on December 12, 2004 at
Heredonio Salvador Elementary School, Pandacan, Manila and the affair
started at 9:00am . This is another fun-filled day for all the children
and the volunteers.
