    Yusen’s Regional Office of South Asia and Oceania conducted another “offshore: Multi-National Account (MNA) meeting – this time in Manila, Philippines on 3-4 March 2005 at the posh Manila Peninsula Hotel. The occasion was graced by Regional Director Mr. Y. Fukushima and participants from Yusen offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Melbourne, Auckland and Manila, New Delhi agent SK Jain was represented.  Dignified guests from Japan headquarters, Hong Kong’s East Asia region, and America’s regional office were also present... cont.

 South Laguna Branch Opening

    Yusen Philippines launched its newest office in Laguna on January 10, 2005.  Yusen Phils. South Laguna is strategically located at Carmelray Industrial Park 2 Administration Building, Calamba, and Laguna.  The branch provides full logistic services for accounts from Canlubang to Batangas. 

            A thanksgiving cocktail was held on January 20 which was attended by South Laguna top customers including Yazaki Torres, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Panasonic, MSM, Totoku, Advantek, Tann Phils., Toyo Ink, and Tokyo Byokane.  Yusen Phils President Atty. Art Tugade, GM Rustico Arvesu, Asst. GM Leo Tagle, and Laguna Branch Manager Andoy Perez welcomed the guests together with the South Laguna Sales Team composed of Alice Apolinario, James Bantigue, Lovelynn Zabala, and Amor Abanilla... cont.

Yusen and Friends Golf Tournament

      More than 50 Yusen partners and friends took a swing last February 25, 2005 to celebrate Yusen Air & Sea Service Co. Ltd. 50^th anniversary held at The Orchard Golf & Country Club.  Yusen Phils customers, airline colleagues, and special guest, Mr. Fukushima of SAOR, graced the event which culminated in the Awarding Dinner where they were treated with tons of giveaways, souvenirs, and raffle prizes.

 Each participant was warmly welcomed by Yusen staff and top management headed by its President Atty. Art P. Tugade, EVP Mr. Takatomo Ito, and GM Mr. Rustico Arvesu.  The Japanese staff was also in full force greeting the valued customers and friends in the industry.... cont.
