Cebu Mitsumi Inc. with a total manpower complement of 16000 has helped provide employment to the residents of Danao City. It started its operations during the later part of 80's and YAS Cebu established its partnership when the latter started its operations in Cebu in July 1992. We have been partners since then providing them with total logistics services. Cebu Mitsumi Inc. is now one of YAS Cebu's top accounts. Cebu Mitsumi Inc. has about 13 division that produces electronic parts for various electronic devices. One of their product lines forms part of the popular sony play station 2. They also produce parts for cellular phones and its accessories such as blue tooth and parts for a camera phone as well as parts for DVD's. In total, they manufacture goods for products which rapidly upgrades itself all year round. Just recently, YAS has been chosen to be CMI's domestic partner handling all their shipments coming from their different suppliers in the Luzon area. This is a project of Cebu Mitsumi which forms part of their drive for localization as well as cost reduction. It has taken almost a year in planning and preparation and it has finally taken off last May of this year. With this, YAS has strengthened its relationship with Cebu Mitsumi Inc. and we wish them more power and good luck in all their endeavors.
