Nishizawa Manufacturing Cebu, Inc., located in Mactan export Processing Zone 1, became a certified Ecozone Enterprise last June 23,2004. A small corporation engaged in the manufacture of car aircon parts & other allied products. Its commercial operations started on August 26, 2004 with only 17 production workers, a production manager & a general manager. Although Nishizawa Mfg. Cebu is a Japanese owned, it operates without a Japanese staff. However, both local managers understand & speak the Japanese language having trained in their mother company for three years. The company exports 18,000 pieces of cooler hose fittings weekly on its first month of operation. After 6 months, the company has added more machines & manpower. Export then increases to 33,000 pieces weekly.
Last August 27, 2005, YAS Cebu, represented by Ms. Analee Javellana, Mr. Alexander Tan & yours truly, attended Nishizawa Cebu’s First Year Anniversary held at Waterfront Hotel, Mactan and presented a plaque to its Vice-President, Mr. Kenji Nishizawa. YAS Cebu has established partnership with NMCI last December 2004 and since then providing them total logistics services. More power & Congratulations to Nishizawa Manufacturing Cebu, Inc!
