  SAO Regional Director visits YAS Phils

     Mr. Taizo Taguchi, Regional Director for South Asia and Oceania Region (SAOR) arrived in Manila last September 4, 2005, as part of his familiarization tour to this region which includes Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and soon to be included, India.

     YAS Phils, Management Committed meeting held 7:00 AM every Monday has been known in the network for its innovativeness and manifestation of total commitment. And on Sept 5, 2005, the MANCOM had the pleasure of Mr. Taguchi’s presence.  YAS Cebu Receives Gold Award from PAL

     Last September 2, 2005, Philippine Airlines recognized Visayas top agents for both cargo and travel. Traditionally, the Daghang Salamat Dinner party is held in Cebu, this time however, PAL treated Visayas agents in style and grandeur with the event done at the Century Park Hotel, with free tickets and hotel accommodations to all attendees. Grand, indeed, with celebrities RJ Rosales & Ms. Pops Fernandez sang and danced to the guests hearts’ delight.

     The night was made more special with the rendition of beautiful songs like Picture of You by Boyzone by Gerry Calaluan, Sales Manager for Domestic Cargo together with the PAL sales group both from PAL Manila and Cebu. Truly, a showcase of talents from Philippine Airlines!
