Yusen Cebu/Manila passes ISO Renewal Audit
 
       Last February 09 & 10, 2006, Yusen Cebu undergo ISO surveillance audit simultaneously with Manila Head office. It was the first surveillance audit of Cebu since it was granted certification last February 2005. The two day audit was conducted by SGS lead auditor Ms. Glenda Villamor and assisted by our ISO consultant Ms. Angie Fraginal and Document Controller for Yusen Ms Claire de Villa.

       The audit was very comprehensive and covers all the departments which include Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Accounting and Admin. No non-conformities (NCR) were found during the audit and it again proved another success for the hard efforts and teamwork among Yusen Cebu personnel and staff. A big "hurrahh" to Yusen Cebu team!!!!!!!.

The SGS Philippines audit team, headed by Ms. Glenda Villaflor with Tito Lopez and Jerome Cipriano, announced that YAS Phils successfully passed its ISO 9001:2000 Renewal Certification Audit which was held last February 9 - 10, 2006.  The audit covered Yusen Head Office and Cebu Office with zero NCR and 16 areas of improvement.

The success of the audit was made possible thru the teamwork of all YAS employees and our ISO Internal Audit Team with the support of the management team headed by our President, Atty. Arthur P. Tugade, our EVP, Takatomo Ito, VP & Deputy QMR Rustico C. Arvesu and Cebu Branch Manager, Lydia R. Agustin.
