Yusen Phils. Receives ANCA Recognition
December 08, is the most awaited day for the YAS Phils., family to commemorate with delight and gladness to each one of us; an event with a blissful and grand Hawaiian Christmas Party to have.
A buffet of luscious dinner was set for everyone, with a live band around for some entertainment. The Hawaiian motif was very apparent since all the attendees were wearing their floral clothes plus the Hawaiian set and stage.
Our president, Sir APT welcomed everyone and opened the program with an extravagant and splendor of good news for everybody. Sir APT reminded everyone to be thankful and contented for every blessings that we are receiving and that we should learn to share whatever blessings that we have.

YAS Christmas Luau 2006
Like the usual, we indulged with games and exhibited talents on dancing (Shall we dance?). This contest involved Freestyle dancing, a medley of Hawaiian, Modern and Dirty dancing songs.
The representatives for Corporate Affairs Division (Mandy Tupaz & Dinah Acosta) won first place in the said contest; 2nd place was Brokerage Department (Elrey Mendoza & Carol Defeo), and the 3rd placer was Seafreight Department (Ervin Quimzon & Rona Peņarubia).
To make the party different and more remarkable, this time we recognize the beauty of our very own Yusen ladies by having beauty contest, that is, "The Search for Binibining Yusen 2006". The precious gems of Yusen compete by flaunting their beauties and wit. The judges really had a hard time deciding who should be the winner since all the contestants were stunning in their Hawaiian dresses; even the crowd has their own bet of who should win.
Eventually, the time for announcement of winners has come and the crowd just kept on roaring! The representative for Corporate Affairs Division, Ms. Joy Zuņo, took home the crown for Binibining Yusen 2006; 2nd place was Ms. Deng Hernandez (Operations-Airfreight); and 3rd place was Ms. Alia Escoto (Brokerage Department). Even the non-winners were considered to be winners since all the contestants were given trip to Tagbilaran.
