The program ended with a speech from teary eyed Mr. Ito thanking everyone and saying how much he would miss the men and women of Yusen Philippines.
To Ito-san, thank you very much, we will always treasure the time you shared with us, the years you have given us pride and honor being a part of Yusen Philippines.

Each department presented Mr. Ito with dance numbers to the tunes of the '70s original pilipino music. Bongga Ka 'Day, I-swing Mo Ako, and the special number from the all male executive of Yusen doing the "Hagibis medley".
Each department also presented Mr. Ito with souvenir, gifts that they feel would make our Ito-san remember with longing but happy feeling the 6 years he spent working with us. Some executives got emotional when saying their tribute to Mr. Ito. What do they say?
- "Special thanks for Mr. Ito's appreciation for each of Filipino staff and treating them with respect and importance leading to the many successes of Yusen."
- "Mr. Ito has taken cared of his staff like his own family. He, together with Mr. Izumii took time to visit her at home after giving birth."
- "The success of Yusen Philippines was appreciated by the top ranks in Yusen Japan. In one of the business dinners attended by some YPH executives, YJP top ranks were saying that Yusen Philippines success was due to the fact that Japanese and Filipino staffs have worked hand and hand toward a common objective without thinking who is Japanese or who is Filipino, we are all Japinoy."
Atty Tugade shared with everyone that while he wished that Mr. Ito could still stay with us, there was already a directive from Yusen Japan, and we must follow. He also mentioned that Mr. Ito has always been supportive of his decision including those critical ones like charter flights contracts and has always represented Yusen Phils very well to Yusen Japan, giving Yusen Philippines recognition at the Yusen HQ.
