YAS Bags Diamond Award in GCCI
In November 21, the prestigious Global Cargo Carriers, Inc. (GCCI) has once more given special citations to Yusen Air and Sea Service Philippines, thru the Diamond Category Award 2nd runner-up, specifically on Airfreight Management at the ballroom of the Philippine Plaza Hotel.
The award was given by Rene Philip Banzon, Chairman on the Industry Award Section together with Madel Martin, GCCI President and was formally accepted by Yasushi Ishikawa, Global Account Manager for South Laguna Area and Satoshi Okita, Global Account Manager for Manila North Luzon Area.
The event was graced by top executives from the Logistics and airlines industry. Other YAS executives who witnessed the awarding ceremonies were our President, Arthur P. Tugade; Mitsugu Taguchi, Executive Vice President; Rustico C. Arvesu, Vice President; Elecita B. Tan, Finance and Corporate Affairs Division Manager; Leo M. Tagle, General Manager-Airfreight; Jojo R. Gonzales, Operations Division Manager; Olive D. Medina, Sales and Marketing Division Manager and Marilyn Murillo, Chief Accountant.
The recognition has highlighted the continuous improvement in YAS airfreight management system over the years. YAS would never achieve said award if not for the devotion, hard work and relentless efforts of its manpower, combined with the dynamic leadership of Arthur P. Tugade. Such honor had given confidence for YAS to further improve its quality management system in order to become globally competitive in the logistics arena.
